We developed the Piranha with the diver in mind so that, ultimately, you can customize your own scooter. This extends to the handle and trigger. With the ability to adjust the trigger distance from the handle and swap right to left-handed dominant control, any diver can wield the Piranha comfortably, especially with the new ergonomic grip!
The Piranha handle was designed to be completely user adjustable with only 2 tools, a 2.5mm and a 4mm Hex (Allen) key. You can adjust the angle of the grip and the positioning of the trigger, all without losing the integrated GoPro mount!
From the factory, the handle on your Piranha comes in the orientation seen below in (fig.A).
Should you desire to change the spacing of the trigger from the grip, simply use a 2.5mm Hex (Allen) key to loosen and remove the screw that mounts the trigger to the trigger-rod. You will then rotate the trigger 180 degrees and reinstall the screw (fig.B).
Your Piranha comes with the handle and grip in a right hand dominate orientation. Changing the orientation of both these parts can be achieved using a 4mm Hex (Allen) key.
To change the angle of the grip, simply loosen the screw in the top of the handle (fig.D) and rotate the grip to the orientation you desire.
To change the orientation of the grip from right to left hand dominant you will need to loosen the screw in the grip so that you are able to pull the grip off of the trigger bar (fig.E).
Then remove the screw under the loop in the handle base (fig.F).
Once the screw is removed, pull the trigger bar out of the loop and re-insert it through the other side (fig.G).
Reinstall the screw under the loop of the trigger, then mount the left hand grip, found in your spares kit (fig.H).
