Tweaks to try
- Change the Gears: keep 3-4 gears in your normal diving speed range, and then just add one more at max speed. This way when you need to catch your buddy, or follow that Tarpon, its just a click way.
- Slow down the acceleration: Popular with videographers to avoid awkward scooter jerks while recording
- Change the start gear: if you normally dive at a different speed than 3, change the start gear so the scooter always starts in the gear you like.
To use the Dive Xtras programming interface you will need to download and run the software on a computer that is running Windows. The Software is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Macintosh users may take advantage of software such as Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, or Apple's Boot Camp along with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 to run the software, provided the Macintosh has an Intel processor. Macintosh installation is not supported by Dive Xtras.
Programmable feature list:
If you have an older scooter, you may not have programmable electronics. To check compatibility, all programmable electronics will have a connector between the reed switch and the electronics.
